Italian Balsamic Burger with Mozzarella cheese

For an extra zing, add a drizzle of Balsamic Vinegar between the mozarella and the bacon. It's delicious!
500g minced beef
1 onion diced
1 garlic clove crushed
1 tsp finely chopped parsley
1 medium egg lightly whisked
60g breadcrumbs
1 tbsp Mazzetti Balsamic Vinegar of Modena
4 rashers of bacon
Mozzarella cheese
4 brioche burger buns
lettuce (cos)
1 large tomato sliced
1/4 cup mayonnaise
3/4 cup Mazzetti Balsamic Vinegar of Modena
1lb minced beef

2oz breadcrumbs
1 tbsp Mazzetti Balsamic Vinegar of Modena
4 rashers of bacon

4 brioche burger buns

1/4 cup mayonnaise
3/4 cup Mazzetti Balsamic Vinegar of Modena
Mix the minced beef in a bowl with the garlic, onion, egg, breadcrumbs and parsley and the Mazzetti Balsamic Vinegar. Mix thoroughly – using your hands is best. Press the mixture into burger shapes and season on both sides.
Pop your burgers on the barbecue or in a hot, non-stick frying pan with a little oil. Cook for 5 – 6 minutes on each side for medium and 8 – 9 minutes on each side for well done.
While the burger is cooking, lightly toast the buns and cook the bacon until crispy, then set aside.
Combine the mayonnaise, Mazzetti Balsamic Vinegar, season with salt and pepper to taste. Whisk together to create the Balsamic mayo.
Time to layer the burger! Start with the buns then add the Balsamic mayo on the bottom, followed by the lettuce and tomato. Then, layer on the patties, mozzarella cheese, top with the crispy bacon and bun. Serve with salad, coleslaw or potato wedges and enjoy!
